OCR: The LIGHT ROM CD contains almost 650 megabytes of 3D objects, images, image sequences, scene files, surface attributes, bump maps and textures in IFF and Targa formats, DEMs, and Lightwave related text files. LIGHT ROM is an invaluable resource for Lightwave users, and as a bonus, includes mater- ial for Sculpt 3D and Imagine users. All Lightwave objects, images, textures, and bump maps are represented in thumb- nail renderings for your convenience. Also included is an exclusive showcase directory, where Lightwave artists from around the world have submitted material to showcase their talents to the rest of the Lightwave community, and through their contributions, can advertise their skills and services. Michael Meshew, the author of this compilation, has always been impressed by the willingness of Lightwave 3D artists to share their resources with other artists. There is a high degree of reciprocity between Lightwave artists, that takes place on the Internet and on BBS systems all over the world. The author's goal for LIGHT ROM is to promote their talents and resources worldwide. With periodic updates, LIGHT ROM should be considered an educational resource in the same way as magazines and books.
